The Bojonegoro Regency Government, along with several partners from various sectors, continues to strengthen synergy in promoting the economic independence of people with disabilities. This commitment was realized through the opening of the Community Partnership Empowerment Program (PKM) held at the Dander Village Hall, Dander District, on Wednesday (3/6/2026). This program received funding support from DPPM DIKTI through LLDIKTI Region VII and was implemented by LPPM STIKES Rajekwesi Bojonegoro.
Carrying the theme "Empowerment and Improvement of MSMEs for People with Disabilities in Developing Evidence-Based Medicine Herbal Product Innovations," this activity was attended by the Chair of STIKES Rajekwesi Bojonegoro Evita Isnanda, Vice Chair III of STIE Cendekia Bojonegoro Ahmad Saifurriza Effasa, Head of the PKM Team Rony Setianto, Secretary of Dander Village Ardi Sanjaya, Chair of the Aneka Warna Partner, and the Head of the Social Rehabilitation Division of the Bojonegoro Regency Social Office, Nafiatin Ni'mah.
During the discussion session, participants actively provided various inputs regarding business development. One of them was conveyed by Munari, a member of PPDI Balen, who hopes that the business equipment assistance previously received can be supplemented with other supporting facilities so that the production process becomes more optimal and productive.
Responding to these aspirations, the Head of the Social Rehabilitation Division of the Bojonegoro Regency Social Office, Nafiatin Ni'mah, emphasized that the Social Office is committed to continuing to support the sustainability of empowerment programs for people with disabilities. Her office will also strengthen collaboration with relevant regional apparatus organizations (OPD) in organizing various training sessions to improve the skills, capacity, and competitiveness of MSME actors with disabilities.
Through collaboration between the local government, universities, and various strategic partners, this program is expected to provide sustainable assistance for MSMEs with disabilities, ranging from the development of evidence-based medicine herbal products and the improvement of managerial capacity to the strengthening of entrepreneurial competence, so that entrepreneurs with disabilities can grow into independent and competitive entrepreneurs.
