STIEKIA Hosts 2026 Smart Consumer Socialization and Education

STIEKIA served as the venue for the 2026 Smart Consumer Socialization and Education event organized by the Bojonegoro Consumer Protection Technical Implementation Unit (UPT), Department of Industry and Trade of East Java Province.

The event carried the theme "Empowered Consumers to Realize Quality, Safe, Fair, and Sustainable Trade in Goods and Services."
This socialization aims to increase public understanding, especially among students, regarding the importance of being smart, critical, and responsible consumers when conducting transactions for goods and services.

Through this educational activity, participants were provided with an understanding of consumer rights and obligations, the importance of recognizing product quality and safety, and increasing vigilance against trade practices that harm consumers.

This activity also serves as an educational medium for STIEKIA students to better understand consumer protection in daily life, including transaction activities in the increasingly developing digital era.
As students who will later play a role in the business world, economy, and society, an understanding of consumer protection becomes an important asset for building responsible economic behavior and supporting the creation of a healthy trade ecosystem.

STIE Cendekia Bojonegoro welcomes the implementation of this activity as part of an effort to broaden students' horizons through collaboration with government agencies.
Through the 2026 Smart Consumer Socialization and Education event, it is hoped that STIEKIA students can become wiser consumers, understand their rights, and contribute to the realization of quality, safe, fair, and sustainable trade in goods and services.
