On Monday, January 22, 2024, STIE Cendekia Bojonegoro held a Capital Market School event as well as the Inauguration of the STIE Cendekia Bojonegoro Investment Gallery. This activity was carried out at the Suyitno Hall of Bojonegoro University and became one of the strategic steps in increasing financial literacy, especially in the capital market sector, for students and the people of Bojonegoro.
This Capital Market School was organized through a collaboration between STIE Cendekia Bojonegoro and Bojonegoro University, attended by students from both institutions. In this session, participants gained basic knowledge about the world of investment, capital market mechanisms, and safe and profitable investment strategies.
This special moment was also marked by the inauguration of the STIE Cendekia Bojonegoro Investment Gallery, which was symbolized by a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Vice Chair 1 for Academic Affairs of STIE Cendekia Bojonegoro, the Director of Development of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), and the President Director of PT Philips Sekuritas Indonesia.
The establishment of this Investment Gallery aims to be an education and information center for students, lecturers, and the general public who want to explore the world of investment directly. It is hoped that this gallery can become a means of practical learning while encouraging the birth of young investors who are intelligent, critical, and responsible.
Through this Capital Market School and Investment Gallery program, STIE Cendekia Bojonegoro is committed to continuously enriching financial literacy among academics and the community, thereby supporting the improvement of the quality of economic and business education in Bojonegoro.
