Bojonegoro — STIE Cendekia Bojonegoro (STIEKIA) once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting the development of human resource quality in higher education by holding a Lecturer Career Guidance and Professional Development Workshop, which was held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at the STIEKIA Hall.
This activity was attended by 33 lecturers from various private universities in Bojonegoro, who enthusiastically followed the series of events from beginning to end. This workshop served as a strategic forum for lecturers to gain insights and guidance regarding career development and professionalism as educators in higher education.
Notably, this workshop featured the main speaker, Prof. Dr. Dyah Sawitri, SE., MM, as the Head of LLDIKTI Region 7 East Java. Amidst her busy schedule leading LLDIKTI, she took the time to attend in person at STIEKIA to share knowledge and motivation with the lecturers in Bojonegoro.
In her presentation, Prof. Dr. Dyah Sawitri, SE., MM, conveyed the importance of lecturers having a clear career plan and continuously engaging in self-development through research, community service, and scientific publications. She also encouraged lecturers not only to focus on administrative aspects but also to build professionalism as adaptive and innovative educators in the digital era.
“Lecturers are the vanguard in molding Indonesia's golden generation. Therefore, the commitment to continue learning, innovating, and developing oneself is crucial so that the quality of higher education in Indonesia continues to advance,” emphasized Prof. Dr. Dyah Sawitri, SE., MM.
This activity is expected to motivate lecturers to be more focused on building their academic careers while simultaneously increasing professionalism in carrying out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
The Chair of STIEKIA, Nurul Mazidah, SE., MSA., Ak., expressed her appreciation for the presence of Prof. Dr. Dyah Sawitri, SE., MM, and all workshop participants. She emphasized that STIEKIA will continue to encourage programs that support lecturer capacity building and improve the quality of education.
