
Bojonegoro, October 21, 2024 — A librarian from STIE Cendekia Bojonegoro took part in the Technical Guidance for Improving Library Management Personnel Competency organized by the Bojonegoro Regency Library and Archives Office. The event took place at the Dewarna Hotel and Convention and was attended by representatives from 62 educational institutions and libraries in the Bojonegoro region.
The activity aimed to boost the capabilities of school and village library management personnel to align with the National Library Standards (SNP). During the technical guidance sessions, participants received practical training on collection management, library user services, digitalization of learning resources, and modern, accountable library administration management techniques.
The STIE Cendekia librarian representative was seen actively following the series of materials and discussions, exchanging experiences with participants from various institutions, and exploring the best strategies to improve campus library services. STIE Cendekia's involvement in this activity is part of the institution's commitment to continuously improve the quality of knowledge services for the academic community and the surrounding society.
The committee hopes that the improvement in library management personnel competency will have a direct impact on service quality, user comfort, and the availability of collections relevant to learning needs. With libraries managed professionally in accordance with SNP, it is hoped that information and literacy services in Bojonegoro will continue to develop.
