On Wednesday, July 3, 2024, STIE Cendekia Bojonegoro held a Cooperative Management Guest Lecture with the theme "Synergy of MSMEs and Cooperatives in the Digitalization Era". This event featured a practitioner and the Director of Koperasi Kareb Bojonegoro, Mr. Sriyadi Poernomo, SE., MM, as the speaker.
This guest lecture was attended by students from the Management and Accounting study programs at STIE Cendekia who were enthusiastic about exploring the strategic role of cooperatives in driving MSME growth, especially in the current era of digitalization. In his presentation, Mr. Sriyadi explained that synergy between MSMEs and cooperatives is crucial for small business owners to survive and thrive amidst increasingly competitive market conditions.
Furthermore, he shared his experience on how Koperasi Kareb Bojonegoro transformed by keeping up with technological developments, ranging from the digitalization of services to online platform-based marketing strategies. Students were invited to understand the challenges faced by cooperatives in the field as well as the innovations that can be implemented to ensure cooperatives remain relevant in the digital era.
