Bojonegoro — As a concrete manifestation of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, the Head of STIE Cendekia Bojonegoro (STIEKIA), Mrs. Nurul Mazidah, SE., MSA., Ak, carried out Community Service activities by becoming a resource person in the Family Financial Literacy Training. This activity was organized by the Regional Leadership of Aisyiyah Bojonegoro on Thursday, February 20, 2025.
This training is a form of implementation of the cooperation established between STIEKIA and the Regional Leadership of Aisyiyah Bojonegoro in an effort to improve understanding of financial literacy in the community, especially among the mothers who are members of Aisyiyah.
The activity was attended by 30 participants consisting of members of the Regional Leadership and Branch Leadership of Aisyiyah Bojonegoro. The material presented by Mrs. Nurul Mazidah related to wise family financial management, household financial planning strategies, and the importance of simple financial recording at the family level.
As an accounting lecturer at STIEKIA, Mrs. Nurul stated that family financial literacy is the main foundation in building household economic independence. "When a family has a good understanding of managing finances, economic stability will be created at the micro level, which ultimately impacts the welfare of the wider community," she said.
She also emphasized the importance of collaboration between universities and community organizations such as Aisyiyah in disseminating financial education to the public.
Through this activity, it is hoped that it will be able to provide broad benefits, especially for Aisyiyah Bojonegoro members, in building awareness of the importance of family financial literacy.
