Bojonegoro — Proud news comes from the STIEKIA Bojonegoro academic community. One of its best lecturers, Dr. Abdul Azis Safii, SE., MM, has officially earned his Doctorate (Dr.) degree after completing his studies in the Doctoral Program of Management Science at the Indonesia College of Economics (STIESIA) Surabaya.
Dr. Abdul Azis Safii underwent his doctoral promotion examination on March 8, 2025, which marked the culmination of his academic journey in the Postgraduate Program of Management Science. His dissertation is titled “THE INFLUENCE OF OWNERSHIP STRUCTURE ON DEBT POLICY AND FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE WITH DIVIDEND POLICY AS A MODERATOR”, with a research focus on [research theme, e.g., development of MSME business strategies based on digital innovation].
In his remarks, Dr. Abdul Azis expressed his gratitude and hope that this achievement would not only be a source of personal pride but also contribute to the development of educational quality at STIEKIA.
“Alhamdulillah, this is a great responsibility that I must uphold. I hope that the knowledge I gained during my doctoral studies can be fully dedicated to the progress of STIEKIA, especially in improving the quality of learning and research in the field of management,” he said.
The Chair of STIEKIA, Nurul Mazidah, SE., MSA., Ak., expressed her appreciation and pride in Dr. Abdul Azis Safii's success. According to her, this achievement is a concrete step in the effort to improve the quality of human resources within the STIEKIA environment.
“This success is a reflection of the commitment of STIEKIA lecturers to develop themselves and improve academic quality. Hopefully, it will be an inspiration for other lecturers and bring a positive impact to the institution,” said Nurul Mazidah, SE., MSA., Ak.
With the attainment of this doctoral degree, Dr. Abdul Azis Safii further strengthens the ranks of STIEKIA lecturers with doctoral qualifications, while also serving as motivation for students to continue improving their competence and passion for learning.
