Bojonegoro — One of the creative educational events held by the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) East Java II (Region VII) was successfully organized on July 17, 2025. This activity, titled the Funtaxtic Competition, serves as a strategic means to increase tax literacy among the younger generation, including university students.
In this event, STIE Cendekia Bojonegoro (STIEKIA), through the STIE Cendekia Tax Center, demonstrated full participation and a strong commitment to supporting the tax awareness inclusion program. The close collaboration between the DJP East Java II Regional Office and STIEKIA is clear evidence of synergy in efforts to build a tax-aware culture within the university environment.
"On behalf of STIE Cendekia Bojonegoro, we express our gratitude for the recognition and appreciation given to us in this national competition. Our participation is a tangible manifestation of our commitment to continuously educating students about the importance of taxes for national development," said Dra. Susilowati Rahayu, MM.
Special thanks were also extended to the students participating in the Funtaxtic Competition, the supervisors, and the tax volunteers from the STIE Cendekia Bojonegoro academic community for their dedication, creativity, and hard work throughout this activity.
"This collaboration not only strengthens the relationship between STIEKIA and the DJP East Java II Regional Office but also serves as a direct learning platform for students regarding the strategic role of taxes in development. Hopefully, this spirit will be maintained and will be able to foster a young generation that is caring and tax-aware," she added.
Through this activity, it is hoped that students will increasingly understand their role as agents of change in spreading tax literacy, in line with the tax-inclusive campus mission that has been promoted by the STIE Cendekia Bojonegoro Tax Center.
