STIEKIA 2026 PKKMB Presents Mrs. Cantika, Students Invited to Build Character and Superior Mentality

A total of 153 new students of the Cendekia College of Economics (STIEKIA) Bojonegoro received character development training as part of the 2026 STIEKIA Campus Life Introduction for New Students (PKKMB) series, Friday (9/18/2026).
The student character development or Capacity Building session carried the theme “Beyond Academic: Building Character, Integrity, and Superior Student Mentality” by presenting Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hj. Sri Budi Cantika Yuli, S.E., M.M. as the speaker.

She is the wife of the Regent of Bojonegoro, Setyo Wahono, and also serves as the Chair of the Family Welfare Empowerment (TP PKK) Team of Bojonegoro Regency and the Early Childhood Education (PAUD) Mother of Bojonegoro Regency.
In the session, new students were invited to understand that the journey in higher education is not only related to academic achievement. Being a student is also a process of forming character, mindset, attitude, and mentality that will serve as provisions in facing life after graduating from college.

Through the “Beyond Academic” theme, Mrs. Cantika emphasized the importance of students having strong character and integrity in navigating both academic life and social life.
Students are encouraged to build an honest, disciplined, responsible, confident, collaborative attitude, and have the willingness to continue learning and developing. These values are an important part of forming a student's personality that is not only academically intelligent but also mature in attitude and decision-making.

The training also directed students to have a superior mentality, namely the courage to face challenges, the ability to adapt to change, and the willingness to step out of their comfort zones. The higher education environment is expected to be a space for students to develop their potential and discover various new experiences.
Mrs. Cantika's presence at the 2026 STIEKIA PKKMB was an opportunity for new students to gain perspective on the importance of building self-quality from the moment they enter the world of higher education.

The “Beyond Academic” message serves as a reminder that student success is not only determined by grades and academic achievements, but also by character, integrity, mentality, and the ability to provide benefits to the surrounding environment.
Through this activity, STIEKIA hopes that new students will be able to make their lecture period a process to grow into competent, character-driven, and integral individuals ready to face future challenges.
